Many community groups and organisations have a vision to help rebuild their neighbourhoods and cities and are excellent at providing effective local services. However, too often they struggle to secure funding to keep them going let alone to make new projects happen. Often there is not enough time or necessarily the expertise to plan ahead. Opportunities arise for tapping new grants but the organisation is too busy to do the necessary paper work.
