Stourbridge Life Centre

Following on from the development of the  very successful Food Bank and Street Pastors projects,  Chawn Hill Church commissioned us in April 2012 to explore the  development of a Christian resource centre to address the further needs of the local community.

Our team reviewed available needs data and undertook 15 face to face interviews with a wide range of public agencies and community project leaders who help people in need, ranging from those who support young people, parents, older people, people with a disability, the unemployed and those with addictions and debt.

We also reviewed the experience of similar resource centres and the scope for the project to link to franchised programmes such as those working with  those with money management problems.

A report was completed and presented in September 2012 that set out options, costings and organisational structure.
